Well, folks, this wraps it up for me from Canterbury.
It's been a real pleasure talking at you for the past two weeks, and I am most grateful to the Compass Rose Society and our President Bishop Phillip Poole for giving me the privilege to attend the 2008 Lambeth Conference. ...and so it seems does the Times in its editorial
So some, but of course not all, will say "progress" here. There's much more to do as we go forward.
Let us pray:
Almighty God, you sent your
Son Jesus Christ to reconcile
the world to yourself: We
praise and bless you for those
whom you have sent in the
power of the Spirit to preach the
Gospel to all nations. We
thank you that in all parts of the
earth a community of love
has been gathered together by
their prayers and labors,
and that in every place your servants
call upon your Name; for the
kingdom and the power and
the glory are yours for ever. Amen
Blessings,
